For a long time I have professed a concept to a friend, Larry M. about my concept " KIT THEORY"!
This consists of a principle of creating a series of assemblies by auditing the parts required to make sub assemblies and eventually larger systems. The auditing process is by examining the components for technical. propriety.
The whole bike is surely a set of systems and assemblies to create the bike when the proper physical assembly procedures are followed.
This then requires an education to the project manager, assembler, and machinist. Often the owner who wants a complete ride able and hopefully reliable Norton
With brit bikes in america, there is an unfortunate lack of skills in all technical areas.Yes there are plenty of "professionals" but the definition mainly refers to the demand of money.for accomplishing tasks and NOT the quality or successful completion of the work.
