Restoring a P11A Ranger - have removed all the components of the rear hub and trying to sort out what parts I will need. Has anyone else here done this before? Would like some advice.

Most of the time on these old bikes, the parts need changing are not so much worn out but rusted from sitting, Seals.... usually felt and bearings are common. Any more pieces damaged?
A rebuild is more successful depending on the technique as much as the parts. Pressing bearings rather than beating them with a hammer counts a lot.. IMO
I have not specifically done one of those but good technique is universal and I would suspect it is a fairly basic hub.
Maybe Wayne M?
I have to admit I don't know the hybrids much at all...power drive train I can help more..

Thanks Dave. I have made my own bearing press for both hubs. I have new bearings for both (not easy to find) but trying to determine the proper oil seal cups to order for the rear hub. The parts book that I have has one part number for the two seal cups but the ones I removed are not the same configuration,...in other words two different seal cups. Both seem to work, however. I checked with Wayne and he said he had not taken the hubs apart before. Another issue is that the rear hub (which are Matchless G85CS) have no seats or shoulders inside for the bearing outer race to sit on. I am currently figuring that one out but was hoping someone with more experience had some insight. Thanks again.
