Notice a thread for a series type regulator and rectifier. This is in contrast to shunt type such as the zener or podtronics shunt type regulator. The shunt type can be thermally hard on the stator since it is constantly putting out all it is possible for the physics of the system.
A series type is not as harsh to the stator. The stator current(heat) is blocked until the regulator calls for more power.

FH020AA Regulator/Rectifier with connector kit.

For the do it yourself quickie wiring hookups. If your stock harness is good and you trust it, this will do the job for a Mosfet or SH775 upgrade. Do it once and do it right. Dielectric grease available below!!

I guess I picked the wrong number and it is the shunt type. It is no better than any of the other ones commonly available.
the Shindengen SH775 or SH847 are the one I want but are more expensive. They will help to protect the life of the high power stator.. The shunt type are more likely to burn up the 3 phase 210W stator.
