Hello Dave
you come recommended, I have a 75 Commando with a rebuild Starter, however we can't find the seal that goes in the endcap on the primary case end, I have the O ring on the outer but can't fid the seal on the shaft, we can't even find a part number on the parts diagrams! Any ideas suggestions please...

Well this is sort of an introduction to the MK3 starter discussion.
Here is the parts book PIX followed by the IPL.


Part1 is a regular dash -233 oring
Part 27 has an unidentified seal 1'OD x 11/16 shaft x 3/16 thickness.
