Early start here is for discussion and tech talk, late afternoon.
Skype meeting starts a little later.

A little follow-up on Kirks combat head fix-up.

previously:
The head top 3 head steady hole had been cross threaded with 5/16 unf screws and would not accept 5/16 BSF. THE 2 side holes were cold swaged back to BSF but the rear hole had a flush broken off screw. A BSF helicoil was the only remaining save

today:.
Sloppy intake guide drilled, head heated to 400f, and then the guide punched out in reverse direction.
Looks to be a fairly clean extraction. Std iron guide to go back in.

To come:::
surface plate rub on 400 grit to remove very obvious surface "pull" at the 3 studs..
new valves and valve seat touch up, then
