log in code in chat room POST meeting: Rod, Kirk and I mostly did a amal carb discussion. Kirk brought a super nasty set of 32's off his combat. They were disassembled for soaking in paint brush cleaner which contains methylene chloride. It's very nasty stuff but was one of the old carb cleaner ingredients that is NLA. The carb set is the early type with no drain plugs. The pressed in fuel passage bore plug were drilled and tapped for #6, and extracted. Then the holes were unplugged and prepped for the removeable 10-32 plugs. |
