A follow up call to the sales VP with the vendor of the E-10 proof novalac epoxy vinylester resin has yielded a possible 5 gallon pail engineering sample. It may take a few month for the manufacturer to be making the next production run of this resin.
It would be great for me, since my Dunstall atlas will not be assembled and road worthy until I can make an E-10 proof tank.

Well you never know....In order of my priority list it is 1st and foremost 2 copies of the dunstall atlas/featherbed, 2 fastback (if we count 1 for you) of any of the 3 fastback types , 2 dunstall commando, (I have 3 types), and last, a fiberglass interstate if enough resin left...... B)

The log jam may be over in a sort of fashion. I can finally get a 5 gallon pail from a open barrel in Texas. Not a free sample but that is OK with me. The order goes in on Monday. I will probably consume the whole pail by the time winter is over. Can hardly wait...

The Resin and catalysts are here B) $480 :S
We're (Don M is) working on the buck (Dunstall tank) so we can make the mold followed by making a E-10 proof reproduction Dunstall slimline tank.

It would be great to have the Dunstall atlas back on the road. I only tried the rebuilt engine in the white 63 Atlas rolling chassis. Next season should be the 88SS on the road, then the following year the 68 Dunstall atlas should be ready in full glory. :woohoo:
