Anyone going?
I will be riding out 145? miles for me on sunday. Bringing my usual rally setup with my trailer and camping gear. I've been asked to do tech sessions and supposed to be morning and afternoon each day the rally is on starting with monday. Arriving sunday after 3pm and I will be able to claim a spot with electric, water and shade. |

I'll be heading out Sunday, although I won't be riding like I originally planned. I recently re-injured my right ankle, which makes kicking the Norton over difficult. It is improving, but I am not sure if I will be fully good to go for the Rally. Chris W has a spot on his trailer for my bike. Hopefully, if all is well I will still get to ride while out there, and not have to worry about getting stuck if my ankle flairs up.

He is going to be at his place in Campton, NH with the trailer the week prior. It is about 60 miles from my place, so the current plan is for me to get the bike up to him at that time. We'll work out me picking it back up after the rally at his convenience.
I will be driving out on my own Sunday. Eric |

Well I bought my ticket and rally T-shirt.
Now working almost non stop in rally prep mode. Camping equipment test and selections being made, tarp/ awning upgrade since the tarps now have several additional grommet holes , I had to fabricate more of my trailer clamping grommet holders. Bike prep. Fixing my combat side stand frame mount, upgrading the swing arm bushes to the 850 spigot bushing type and slipping in a 71 frame side stand upgrade also.

I don't have much to do. I installed a new battery, petcocks, and exhaust rubbers. The rearsets are on and adjusted as best I can set them without a shakedown run. My only issue is that my ankle is still not healed enough to kick the bike over. Unfortunately, this looks like it will be an issue to consider going forward.
